Re: EGP’s coverage of proposed incorporation of the City of East Los Angeles
On behalf of the Local Agency Formation Commission for the County of Los Angeles (LAFCO), I am writing to thank you for your on-going coverage of the proposed incorporation of the City of East Los Angeles.
Eastern Group was the only media outlet to consistently cover LAFCO’s processing of the incorporation request. Gloria Castillo of EGP attended all of the key public meetings, and she diligently spoke to me throughout the process to verify the accuracy of information in the articles she wrote.
Given the spotty coverage by other media sources, it is clear to me that EGP provided a valuable service to the community in covering the proposed incorporation of East Los Angeles.
