6-7:30pm–Metro’s 710 Project Community Discussion at East Los Angeles Library. LA County Supervisor Hilda Solis will host a panel discussion and Q & A with health experts on the health-related issues in the project’s Environmental Impact Report (EIR). 7pm—Book Discussion & Signing” The Chicano Generation: Tetemonios of the Movement at Vroman’s Bookstore in Pasadena. Author Mario T. Garcia in conversation with Chicano activists Raul Ruiz. All day Special Olympics World Games 2015 competitions. Several sports and festivals are being held in different locations including USC, UCLA, Convention Center and Long Beach.
