3pm–Film Screen- “A League of Their Own” at the El Sereno Library in Honor of Women’s History Month. Taking place during WWII, the comedy stars Tom Hanks, Madonna, and Geena Davis and is about the history of the All-American Girls’ Professional Baseball League. No charge. 8:30-12:30pm–Montebello Community Beautification Day at Chet Holifield Park. Families, organizations & businesses are being urged to volunteer to clean & Beautify the park, Bring gardening tools & gloves. Park is located at 1060 S. Choat who will talk about her memoir, “Undaunted,” a story of her experiences, resilience and survival during the Vietnam War as a young child and immigrant in the United States.
